what happens at the initial consult?

Your initial consultation (45 - 60 minutes) mainly includes:

  • An in-depth discussion of your health history, lifestyle, and current concerns

  • details of bladder, bowel, sexual or physical symptoms

  • Comprehensive screening including fluid intake, bladder and bowel habits, gynaecological, medical, family, and obstetric history (where relevant)

  • A physical assessment-  external examination, and internal vaginal assessment only with your consent and when clinically appropriate

  • empower you through a evidence-based treatment option: education of the causes, plan to manage, minimize, and eventually eliminate your symptoms, return to work/activities confidently

if you have chronic diseases management plan (CDMp), formerly know as EPC, then you may be eligible for susbidised visits. (rebate amount is approximately $60 per session).

 

if eligible, you are able to access 5 appointments per year.
